Soprano Elizabeth Ritchie, from St Maughans, and the pianist and conductor Andrew Greenwood, from Llangattock-Vibon-Avel, will be joined by Niall Hoskin, baritone, from Bristol, for what promises to be an absorbing evening next Wednesday in the Wyastone Concert Hall.
Part of Merlin Music Society's series of concerts, the recital is devoted, in this centenary year of his death, to the work of Hugo Wolf.
Elizabeth Ritchie lived for several years near Hereford and will be known to many as a teacher and adjudicator as well as a performer.
She is professor of vocal studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
A more recent arrival in the area, Andrew Greenwood is fast becoming an integral part of the local musical scene.
Until recently musical director of English Touring Opera, Andrew has conducted the Welsh National Opera, English National Opera and Royal Danish Opera.
Tickets for the concert are available on 01600 891090.
