Manager Osborne sets the early pace

HEREFORD-based LUKRacing.net team have made a flying start to the racing season with team manager Paul Osborne to the fore.

He won three events in eight days, including his first weekend double.

That came at a 10-mile event near Worcester, when he clocked 22.14 mins, and a 25-mile trial near Bristol which he won in 58.57.

Osborne now misses two weeks racing as he travels to Majorca for warm weather training in preparation for the national championships in May.

Jon Surtees was LUK's first winner in February at Ely and the team went on to dominate other meetings by filling many of the leading places.
