    A SWAN and its cygnets at risk from visiting swans had to be rescued by firefighters yesterday. Hereford crews were called to a pond behind the Cadbury factory on the A49 near Leominster at midday by worried RSPCA staff. The resident family was rescued

    FIRE crews were called to Hereford home yesterday after a car parked outside caught fire. One applicance was sent to Ross Road to extinguish it at 2.30pm. It is believed to have started from an electrical fault in the engine.
